"The Cascade Effect"

"Just before departing for Spain, I created "SEKT" and "The Cascade Effect"—two abstract works born in the final, charged days of my 100 paintings in 100 days project. 

I was steeped in a swirl of emotions: exhaustion and exhilaration, fulfillment and restlessness. In those last sessions, the act of painting felt effortless, as if the compositions and colors were unfolding on their own, each gesture and layer a natural release. Yet beneath that flow was the quiet awareness that my daily studio rhythm was about to shift. Soon, the brush would give way to the camera and the journal, as I moved from the intimacy of making to the expansiveness of gathering—collecting textures, light, and moments in Spain that would later feed the next chapter of my practice."
